Green Solar Louisiana produces Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) used in building walls, ceilings, floors, and roofs. Our panels are manufactured with polystyrene foam glued between two fiber cement surface facings. As part of each panel, the foam structural elements add tremendous strength. A typical GSL 4-1/2 inch thick SIP has an R-value of R-30 or higher establishing an energy efficient and cost effective envelope.

We manufacture Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) for use in building walls, ceilings, floors, and roofs. Our panels are manufactured by injecting polystyrene foam between two surface facings. As part of each panel, the foam structural elements add tremendous strength. A typical GSM 4-1/2 inch thick SIP has an R-value of R-25 or higher establishing an energy efficient and cost effective envelope. Future developments include panels made from sisal plants with a semi-concrete backing.

The deal is done and you have a contract. Now, what’s next? The next most important next step is to go back and decompose what has been agreed to. This means further develop contract requirements so that you can see the Requirements Phase, Development Phase, Integration and Test Phase, and Commission Phase. Set realistic expectations using Requirements Management to plan, execute, and deliver the project. Create milestone requirements and events for each phase of the project and ensure that compliance is met and signed off. Our recommendation is to develop a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) showing Requirements, Labor/Cost, and Schedule, and management project according to milestone events.
